The Ha-no-oo: Star Calendar is a reflection on travel and navigation. The granite mosaic floor depicts the annual night sky seen above the light rail station in Denver, Colorado. The floor is divided into 21 constellations whose names are written in 21 indigenous languages from the region, including the Arapaho, Cheyenne, Paiute, Kiowa, and Bannock nations. All of the star names were shared by elders in conversation with the artist.
